This workshop will help parents understand and/ or reaffirm through activities and class dynamics, the importance of the family system in our society and give tools to help strengthen our families. (Class will be taught in Spanish)

Parent Center

Hello Parents! Did you know we have a parent center? It's in room 902. You can come in through the main office or you can come in through the parking lot, ring the bell and someone will open the door for you. Come meet other parents, learn how you can volunteer at the school, and participate in parent workshops.

I've been working here at MVA since 2007. I love the feeling I get when students come back to ask for more books of the same or different kind/author after being reluctant to take a book they "didn't want to read" in the first place. I enjoy discussing books with students. It is fascinating how they get into the story and don't want to let go until they're done.
